As entertainment players become more complex with the addition of subscription services, digital ads, content licensing, and partner settlements, they are increasingly facing the need for efficient and scalable business process automation. Manual procedures will typically allow for delays in processing, discrepancies, compliance issues, and higher operating expenses. The aim of this study is to propose a Governance-Driven Business Process Automation Framework (GPBAF) that combines workflow orchestration, intelligent decision support, rule-based automation, and real-time analytics to streamline financial operations in the entertainment ecosystem. The framework automates critical functions such as invoice administration, revenue reconciliation, royalty settlement, payment approval, compliance monitoring, etc., and ensures traceability and transparency of operations. It is found that with the proposed approach, manual intervention and savings on manpower can be drastically cut, processing accuracy increased, financial visibility extended, and decisions made faster than traditional financial management practices. The structure allows for flexibility, compatibility, and scalability in a variety of entertainment business models and high-volume transaction systems. The integration of automation and governance principles supports processes of better operational efficiency, financial control, and digital transformation efforts, offering a hands-on approach for intelligent financial operations in contemporary entertainment platforms.
