This study investigated the integration of gender equality and inclusion within Nigeria's engineering field, concentrating on key organizations like the NSE, PEIs, COREN, and APWEN. Utilizing document reviews, surveys, and interviews, data were collected from members and staff across the country. An analysis of policies, programs, and HR practices revealed significant shortcomings in gender sensitivity, understanding, and disability access. Notably, female engineers reported discrimination, harassment, and work-life balance struggles, while many institutions lacked strong gender equality policies. Accessibility barriers for persons with disabilities were also common. The study underscored the systemic nature of these issues and their impact on inclusivity. It concluded that substantial interventions are necessary to foster a more equitable engineering sector. Recommendations included developing comprehensive gender policies, promoting gender awareness training, implementing affirmative action, improving disability access, supporting women's career growth, cultivating inclusive leadership, and addressing work-life balance. These measures are essential for achieving a truly inclusive engineering environment in Nigeria.
